Tabatha Stirling is a published writer, poet, book cover artist and indie publisher (Stirling Publishing) living in Edinburgh with her family and a depressed Beagle called The Beagle. \n\nPublishing credits include LITRO, Spelk, Literary Orphans, Mslexia, Sick Lit Mag, Twisted Sister, Scottish PEN \u0026amp; Uncovered Artistry, Fearless Femme and the Grantidote. \n\nTabby has read her work at STANZA, Uncovered Artistry \u0026amp; at Aye Write and is an active member of the Scottish Writing \u0026amp; Publishing community. \n\nAn extract of her addiction memoir is to be published in ‘A Wild \u0026amp; Precious Life’ Anthology edited by Lily Dunn and Zoe Gilbert and published by Unbound. Will Self has consented to write the forward.\n\nHer debut novel, Bitter Leaves, was published by Unbound in March 2019 – a novel that examines maid abuse in Singapore and the ways that women survive in brutal circumstances.\n\nIn March 2019 she has been asked to speak at the London Book Fair as part of the Insight Seminar Programme about women in publishing who have had their first major achievement after 45 which intends to inspire and encourage older women writers.\n\nTabby will be appearing at Hastings Literary Festival as both as an author speaker and judge for the short story competition in August 2019.\n\nWhen she’s not writing, reading Grimdark, gaming, making bespoke cupcakes or creating Cover art she enjoys watching dark, blood-splattered dramas.\n\nTabby is absolutely ready for a zombie apocalypse.\n\n\n \n
